How do I season cold cooked shrimp I just bought at the supermarket.?

We tasted it cold...yuck! I tried to put it on the grill with a little garlic er & it still has a fishy taste. I want to prepare the 2lbs. I have sitting here in cold water defrosting. ANY SUGGESTINGS MOST APPRECIATED!!!
