Do religious people evolve in thinking?

If you notice, only the devout religious deny evolution, not a single credible scientist denies it. A couple hundred years ago, these are the same people that said that the earth was falt, and if you disagreed, they would kill you. So, in a couple hundred years will the "faithful" accept evolution and be grinding another axe against science?
