How do I get rid of a crush?

Firstly, i am in the exact same situation as you (minus the bowler hat and pipe). Just because he's different doesn't mean he's weird. Remember what he was like at the party, maybe that's what he's like all the time. He's probably a really nice guy, just give him a chance. Do you have to get rid of your crush? Is he socially in a lower cl than you ? If he's a nice enough guy the status quo shouldn't matter. I suggest you get to know him before you take the view everyone else has labelled him with. If you just try talking to him normally you may find you like him, but finding out more things out him will calm you down a bit. You may when you talk to him find out he IS just wierd, but then your crush will go away. Just try talking to him.
