Are bouncers in the state of Kentucky allowed to head and punch someone outside of their bar.?

I was told I couldn't come in to their bar so I tried to round up my group to leave and 3 bouncers kept talking smack as I waited outside on the sidewalk. as we were leaving 5 or 6 bouncers ran out to me and my group and aulted me! Flat out! I never swung back.
