Thinking of relocating to a southern state?

Still in brainstorming phase, so I would appreciate any resources, especially the names of landlords who do month-to-month leases without credit checks, etc. Anywhere south from the Carolinas to Arizona. I have a decent career (obviously with less than perfect credit), so I am optimistic about easily finding work. I just have to secure shelter for my family. Any leads will help! Thanks
